This seven week New Church Journey program follows the story of Jacob from the Old Testament.  Participants have the opportunity to learn about how this story relates to our own relationship with the Lord and each other as we explore our need to make various kinds of shifts in our life.  There are several ways that you can get involved:

Worship Services: Each Sunday, from February 5th through March 18th we will be gathering as a community to worship together and to explore a different part of the Jacob story and how it applies to our life.  All of our services include a talk for children and an adult sermon.

Weekly Discussion Groups: Join a weekly discussion group where people share insights about each week's topic and how it applies to life.  We currently have two weekly discussion groups planned - Friday mornings at the church and Wednesday evenings at various homes.  We are looking into having other groups as well, including a group meeting after church on Sundays.  Please contact us for more information about a group that may work for you.

Workbook & Daily Readings: Order a workbook for $20 that includes daily readings and insights into various parts of the Jacob story.  The workbook is an excellent tool for recording your own process on the journey.  Read it daily for reflections and inspiration.  Bring it to your Shift group to share what you have learned and experienced.  We have workbooks available for purchase at the church or you can order one online.

Online Involvement: There are several ways that you can use the Internet to be involved:

  • Receive daily readings via email - Sign up here.
  • Like our Facebook page where you can receive information and be part of an online discussion.
  • Visit our Pastor's blog where Matthew will be giving his own weekly thoughts and inviting questions and thoughts.

We hope you find a way that works for you to join us for this exciting program!  Please feel free to contact our Pastor, Matthew, if you have any questions.
