The New Church of Concord would love to have you join us at any of our holiday services.

Thanksgiving Service - the congregation is invited to bring an offering of fruit as a token of thanks.  After the opening of the Word, during the second hymn, the people come forward by the center aisle to present fruit to the minister and then return to the pew by the side aisles.  A regular service is then given.  After the service the food offering is taken to a local charity.

Christmas Tableaux - a worship service of nativity scenes with little movement and no speech is presented on the chancel. While a tableaux is being shown, a minister reads the story it portrays from the Word.  Christmas hymns and special music are included.  This is a service for all ages and is held on a Sunday in December.

Christmas Eve - a candlelit service for families, this service has one address for all.

Palm Sunday - a worship service of scenes with little movement and no speech presented on the chancel which depicts the events leading up to the Easter story.  While a tableaux is being shown, a minister read the story it portrays from the Word.  Easter hymns and special music are included.  This is a service for all ages.

Good Friday Evening - is an adult service, with extended lessons from the Easter story and the Holy Supper.

Easter - is a regular service, with Sunday school scheduled. The congregation is invited to bring an offering of flowers to celebrate the Lord's resurrection. The people may bring flowers forward during the second hymn, as in the Thanksgiving service.
